2021 Ram 1500 Power & Handling

There are three main powertrain options for the Ram 1500 with the addition of the TRX exclusive engine. Found under the hood of most trims, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine pumps out up to 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. This engine is outfitted with eTorque technology to boost fuel economy and the efficiency of the engine start/stop system. A 5.7-liter V8 engine is also offered, with or without the eTorque system, kicking out 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can also opt for the available 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel-powered V6 that delivers 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. The TRX trim is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that delivers 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the match to all engines offered. RWD is standard for most 1500 models while 4WD is offered.

2021 Ford F-150 Power & Handling

There are five engines offered for the Ford F-150. The base 3.3-liter V6 engine generates 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can also choose from a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6, a 5.0-liter V8, a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6, and a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6. The final engine option is a hybrid that combines the 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 with an electric motor and battery pack for 430 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque. All engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Drivetrain configurations offered include RWD and 4WD.
